ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Varsha Jeyapandi

Associate - Visual Communications

Since joining ITDP India in June 2022, Varsha has been a part of the communications team. As an accomplished illustrator and landscape architect, with a degree from the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi and a post-graduate diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development, she brings a unique perspective to her work.

Her professional philosophy is rooted in three guiding principles: ecological consciousness, sustainability, and cultural sensitivity, which she applies to her work in promoting sustainable mobility and urban development.

Through her expertise in graphic design, she supports the organization’s online presence, ensuring that the content is visually engaging, accessible, and user-friendly. She strives to develop strategies and initiatives that promote gender-sensitive urban design and advocate for policies and infrastructure that make streets safer and more accessible for all users.

In her spare time, you could find her engrossed in a book or playing a tune on her piano or ukulele in the comfort of her room.
