ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Mariana Brito

Communications Manager

Mariana Brito holds a postgraduate degree in Urban Sociology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). She serves as Communications Manager at ITDP Brazil.

She is responsible for planning, managing, and executing communication strategies for both project-based and institutional initiatives, in addition to leading the communications team in Brazil. Her responsibilities include content development, media and partner engagement, and the review of technical publications.

With a keen interest in social and racial equity, Mariana led and coordinated the A Cor da Mobilidade project. She believes that advancing equitable sustainable urban mobility requires intentional anti-racist action.
