ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Ana Nassar

Program Director

Ana Nassar holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Brasilia and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. She works at ITDP Brazil as Program Director. 

In ITDP Brazil she oversees project management and strategic planning. Before joining ITDP, Ana served as the Environmental Manager for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, leading  the implementation of environmental projects for the tournament. She has also worked for the British Embassy in Brazil, the Brazilian Ministry of Strategic Affairs, and the Museum of the Person.   

With over 15 years of experience in sustainable development, Ana has managed projects across diverse areas, including climate change, urban mobility, waste management, sustainable procurement, and community development.
