ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Laís Oliveira

Intern Program
Laís Oliveira is a Geographer graduated from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and currently pursuing a degree in Geography Education at the same institution. She is a postgraduate student in Sustainability at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUC-PR) and in Geoprocessing at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC).
During her undergraduate studies, she participated in projects focused on Environmental Planning applied in communities facing high environmental risks and also contributed to the development of a Management Plan for a Protected Area. Her research interests include Physical Geography, Geotechnologies applied to Urban Planning, Protected Areas, and Socio-environmental Risks.
Before joining ITDP, she worked as an intern in public agencies, focusing on Special and Inclusive Education, Culture and Heritage, and Geoprocessing applied to Urban Planning.
