ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Ingrid Chávez

Communications Coordinator

Ingrid has a degree in Communication from UNAM and additional studies in Public Policies with a Gender Perspective from the School of Government of the TEC de Monterrey. Previously, she was a senior researcher on public policies on gender and the economy, as well as on anti-corruption and education issues at IMCO. She participated in the 4th Action Plan of the Open Government Partnership and is an active member of the technical group for an ISO international standard on gender equality in the workplace. She has been a columnist in various national media and is currently Communication Coordinator at ITDP and a consultant on gender and social inclusion issues in various organizations.
