ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Alejandro Lerma

Public Policy Analyst

Alejandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Urban Governance from the Institute of Political Studies of Paris – Sciences Po, with complementary studies in transportation planning from the University of California Los Angeles. He currently holds the position of Public Policy Analyst at ITDP Mexico. His work focuses on the analysis of policies, regulatory and governance frameworks in the field of urban development, sustainable mobility and road safety. Previously, he has collaborated in various international consulting projects in Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa, standing out for his specialized approach to issues of urbanization, citizen participation and coordination of land and mobility policies.
