ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Emilio Romero

Urban Development Coordinator

Emilio graduated with a degree in Geography from UNAM and a Master in Territorial Planning from the University College London (UCL). His main topics of interest are financing for urban development and coordination between urban development and mobility systems. He has collaborated as a research assistant analyzing the impacts of new planning instruments on the provision and quality of housing in the United Kingdom. He joined the ITDP team as an Urban Development Analyst in March 2020.
