ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Andrew Haupt

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew is ITDP’s Chief Financial Officer, with oversight of core business functions including finance, business operations, and human resources. Joining ITDP in 2024, Andrew comes with a track record leading nonprofit organizations to holistically align resources, systems, people, and brands to effectively execute the mission. ITDP’s role in promoting equitable access for everyone through high quality public transport, spaces for walking & cycling, transit-oriented development, and people-centered policies is particularly meaningful for Andrew. Prior to ITDP, he devoted a significant portion of his career to projects directly related to quality of life in urban centers in the US, including parks and open space in Oakland, CA and supportive and affordable housing development and holistic neighborhood and community development efforts in New York City. Andrew is a graduate of Kalamazoo College in Michigan and earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of California Los Angeles.
