Leonardo Veiga

Leonardo Veiga (he/his) is an economist graduated at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Instituto de Planejamento Urbano e Regional – IPPUR (UFRJ). At the university he had the opportunity to study topics related to regional economics, economic development and urban mobility.
Before ITDP he worked as a researcher at a consulting company in the area of economic development (EDUTEC) and as Information Analyst at UN-Habitat Brazil. Recently he worked at the Fiscal Advisory Office of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro, producing data analysis and research on the socio-economic scenario of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
