ITDP Global Policy Director and Founder, Michael Replogle offered a keynote address in Tokyo, Japan, on March 22, 2012 at a United Nations University Public Symposium on Rio+20: Challenges and Issues in Developing Countries. He emphasized the need to incorporate sustainable transport as a key building block of sustainable development and steps that will contribute to achieving this as part of the upcoming Rio+20 global summit, set for June 2012.
