New Book: Urban Transport in the Developing World

ITDP staff, including Executive Director Dr. Walter Hook, Michael Replogle, Global Policy Director and Founder, and John Ernst, Vice Director, South East Asia have contributed chapters to Urban Transport in the Developing World: A Handbook of Policy and Practice. This twenty chapter guide provides “a broad set of perspectives on the plight, possibilities and opportunities of urban transport in the developing world, set against the challenges of sustainable development.” It was edited by Harry T. Dimitriou, University College London, UK and Ralph Gakenheimer, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US. It will be a valuable reference for practitioners and academics alike.
