Yang Chen
Senior Transport Specialist, World Bank
Yang Chen is a senior transport specialist working in the Latin America and Caribbean Region of the World Bank. She has managed various transport investment lending projects and analytical work, most extensively in China, Mongolia, and Peru. Yang’s interests include e-mobility, urban transport policies and planning, green transport, and smart cities.
She holds a B.S. in Urban Planning from Peking University, a Master’s in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Transportation Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
