Stanford Turner
Transit Manager, ITDP Global
Stanford Turner (he/him/his pronouns) joined ITDP as its Transit Manager. He coordinates their global work on public transport, including bus electrification, informal transit, and BRT.
Before he joined ITDP, Stanford worked as a consultant with the World Bank’s Infrastructure, PPP, and Guarantees team helping launch a rolling pipeline of infrastructure projects for the ASEAN Secretariat’s office.
His previous work experiences include managing the Digital Cities program for the Eno Center for Transportation and conducting fiscal & economic policy work for state and local governments at the Pew-MacArthur Results initiative.
Stanford holds a master’s in Urban & Regional Planning from Georgetown University, and bachelor’s in criminal justice from Michigan State University.
