ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Blaise Rusagara

Intern, Active Mobility

Blaise is a student at the University of Rwanda’s College of Science and Technology who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in transportation engineering. He worked as an intern at the transportation department of the City of Kigali before joining ITDP. He has a strong interest in environmentally friendly transportation methods and the equitable allocation of road space.
