ITDP is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City with offices in Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States. ITDP’s programs focus on public transport, non-motorized transport, travel demand management, parking, transport policy, and urban development.

Smritika Srinivasan

Associate - Urban Development

Smritika is a Research Associate at ITDP and is part of the Complete Streets programme in Chennai. She is involved in guiding multiple cities across the country towards creating walking and cycling-friendly neighborhoods as part of the two national Challenges- India Cycles4Change Challenge and the Streets for People Challenge. Smritika also develops the technical content for the Challenges and for the Complete Streets works in Tamil Nadu.

Prior to working with ITDP, Smritika was an Urban Designer at a planning firm in Texas. She worked on master planning projects, developed district and neighbourhood level design guidelines, streetscape design solutions, and transportation planning, for the City of San Antonio and the City of Laredo.
