Felipe Ramírez

A 37-year-old citizen of Bogotá, Felipe holds a master’s degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes. He complemented his academic journey at the London School of Economics and Political Science with a master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning.
He has more than 12 years of experience developing projects in the transportation sector in Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Panama and in London.
Among his qualities stands out his extensive knowledge in mobility issues, specifically in Bogotá, thanks to the work he performed at TRANSMILENIO for six years where he began as Management Advisor, then Deputy Technical and Services Manager, and finally, General Manager of the organization for two years.
His greatest achievements include reengineering of public transportation with the addition of 1,770 new zero and low emission buses, adoption of the new signage of the system and the expansion of stations along trunk routes.
