Ideally, BRT systems are designed around a service plan that gets the most people to where they want to go in the fastest means possible. BRT infrastructure is then designed to increase the speed and comfort and convenience of this service plan. In the former BRT Planning Guide, there was limited guidance on how to establish the original service plan. This webinar will review the new Service Planning chapter, based heavily on the work of leading BRT engineer Pedro Szasz, begin to open this black box, and start a dialog on service optimization strategies more generally.
