If you are on the West Coast, this event is for you! The 2014 Climate Ride event season opens up with the California Wine Country Ride, a four day mission driven and informative bike trip that will be taking off from San Francisco on May 17th and finishing in Sacramento, CA on May 20th.  Leaving from the City by the Bay, riders will cross the Golden Gate Bridge and travel through the stunning scenery of Napa Valley making their way to the capitol of the Golden State.

Last year Team ITDP, which consisted of nine riders who designated ITDP as their beneficiary organization, made its successful debut at the 2013 NYC-DC Climate RideAfter powering through 300 miles and across four states, the team arrived in the nation’s capitol for a finale parade and to meet with lobbyist and congressmen to advocate for climate and transportation legislation.  Team ITDP raised more than $22,000 for ITDP’s projects.

ITDP is grateful for the opportunity to be a beneficiary organization of Climate Ride, where so many like-minded individuals combine their physical strength and passion to influence climate change efforts and encourage progress toward a more sustainable future.

Team ITDP encourages you to sign up to become a Climate Rider and be a part of one of the many unique Climate Ride events. Registration is still open for the California Wine Country Ride, but registration is filling up fast, so register ASAP!
